The Zeutschel OS 16000 Comfort is a powerful A2, 600 dpi color digitization tool recognized for its ease of use, image quality, advanced capabilities, book-friendly scanning, security, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness. Scan modern and historical books, manuscripts, magazines, science reports, contracts, or other cultural heritage. Powered by ScannX Professional Edition software, it is easy to install and maintain.
This solution combines the uncompromising quality of the Zeutschel OS 16000 overhead scanners with the intuitive ScannX software. With its large friendly buttons, the ScannX software guides the user through the scan process, including choosing file formats, scan quality, color depth, file naming, and destinations.

Protect Books and Privacy
The patented design of the Zeutschel OS 16000 Comfort book cradle protects the book’s spine from damage to extend its life. Each side of the book cradle can raise and lower to compensate for the thickness, and the center depresses protecting the book’s spine.
The system also protects privacy and confidentiality by only saving the scanning statistics and not any identifiable session information. Users can also password protect any scanned document, and an additional authentication module can prevent anonymous emails from being distributed.

Scannalytics®
The solution is also integrated with Scannalytics, which delivers cloud-based reporting for all your ScannX devices. This centralized device management tool enables you to track device usage, enable features remotely, push updates, and manage warranty coverage.
Translation Services
Translation Services, optional at a fixed fee per year for unlimited use, enable users to scan a document and have the text instantly translated into any of 60+ languages. The original and translated documents, stored as Word files, can be sent via email or stored on a USB drive, Network folder, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Office 365, and OneDrive destinations.
Unparalleled Accuracy and Security
Zeutschel OS 16000 and ScannX enable users to password protect any scanned document and features an advanced authentication module to prevent anonymous emails from being distributed. The software is also integrated with the ABBYY FineReader Engine for unmatched Optical Character Recognition accuracy. This functionality delivers high-quality output formats, including PDF, searchable PDF, Word, MP3, and WAV file formats. ABBYY’s multilingual document recognition engine automatically detects English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
Billing Integration and Support Options
The ScannX software supports selected ITC and Jamex coin and debit card systems and major credit cards, as well as leading print management systems including Pharos, EnvisionWare, PaperCut, and PCounter. This unit is supported by the ScannX U.S.-based technical support and customer service teams. ScannXtra Care Complete is also available for customers who want advanced insights into system usage and the ability to manage their ScannX scanners remotely. The solution includes remote software diagnostics, updates, upgrades, and an on-site technician when required.
